Haha! This cracks me up! Emily and Kyle’s engagement session was so much fun. And then came Emily’s bridal portrait session on Meredith’s campus, which was a blast as well. But now, the ultimate treat…Jay Leno shares a quick glance at Emily’s bridal portrait last night on The Tonight Show! What??!!! Yep, that’s right…check it out here around 2:50 minute mark:

I am photographing Amanda and Ben’s wedding today at Highgrove Estate’s beautiful southern mansion. It is a perfect day for a wedding! Earlier this summer, we went to their special location where the proposal took place for an engagement session.

Claire and Jacob were married on Wrightsville Beach at sunset. This scene fit them perfectly, as you can see in the photographs. I love when Claire is running toward the water with all the surfers in the background! The Oceanic hosted a lovely reception with stunning views of the waves. You must know that Claire’s talented sister designed and made her wedding dress as well as their adorable dog’s little outfit. Here they are just after the ceremony…
Claire’s smile and contentment are contagious! She was so happy to be on the beach…

This weekend I have the honor of sharing a seminar, “The Inspired Artist” at the WPS (Wedding Photographic Society) Convention. As a WPS Board Member, I am so excited about photographers coming together in community to share and learn (which is what WPS is all about!). I’ll also be teaching a “Lens Lesson” workshop on shooting bridal portraits and participating in mentor sessions in which all proceeds go to Give Kids The World. You can read about why I love being a part of this HERE!

Bridal By the Sea’s Rachel Munro designed, in perfect detail, a gorgeous wedding for Lauren and Hollin. Beaufort, NC is such a charming coastal town for a wedding location! As you can see, it was romance at its finest.
And the wonderful Greg Ramsey of Joe Bunn DJ Company…love working with this guy!
