So that you know a bit about me...I began my photography career back in the mid-90's while earning my undergraduate degree in Technical Photography from ASU. I went on to receive a graduate degree in Photography in Vancouver, BC while continuing to capture weddings in a photojournalistic style. With the unique experience of photographing weddings across North America, from Vancouver to Florida, I am available worldwide to cover weddings, events, and portraits. On this day full of thunderstorms and tornado warnings, our studio is hosting bridal portraits in a controlled environment away from the worries of the outdoors. Of course, we can always do on-location shoots and we love those, too. But, on days like this, we are thankful to have a studio for you!

I loved this wedding! I need to write a book and share some of the stories I’ve gathered over the years about how couples meet, where they’ve lived and how they ended up together no matter distance and time. Johanna and Jared would be one of the many stories in my book. There was so much love all bundled up in this day!

With all this rain we’ve been having down here in NC, I was reminded of a beautiful wedding at Duke Chapel. This was one of those days where it was a blessing that it rained, because it had been a scorcher the entire week leading up to the wedding. Kaitlin and Justin knew that their wedding day was about much more than how the weather turned out -they would have been happy in any situation, they were so excited to make their wedding vows!
I am a total sucker for this moment…when the Dad sees his daughter before they walk down the aisle.
Bettina and Rob’s lovely wedding was held at The Inn at Celebrity Dairy in Chatham County, NC. I love the connection that these two have!
Bettina is a dancer, so it was so much fun to shoot this!
