Anna Katherine & Matt’s wedding was in the heart of lovely Chapel Hill, NC. Here are a few favorites from the ceremony at University Presbyterian Church on Franklin Street.

After the announcement of the new Mr. & Mrs. we headed across the UNC campus to a beautiful reception at The Carolina Inn. As Anna Katherine & Matt crossed Franklin Street…

…Matt took the perfect opportunity to carry his bride so she didn’t have to walk through dirt in her fabulous wedding gown and heels!

On this day full of thunderstorms and tornado warnings, our studio is hosting bridal portraits in a controlled environment away from the worries of the outdoors. Of course, we can always do on-location shoots and we love those, too. But, on days like this, we are thankful to have a studio for you!

Johanna & Jared’s Carolina Inn Wedding

I loved this wedding! I need to write a book and share some of the stories I’ve gathered over the years about how couples meet, where they’ve lived and how they ended up together no matter distance and time. Johanna and Jared would be one of the many stories in my book. There was so much love all bundled up in this day!

Kaitlin & Justin’s Duke Chapel Wedding

With all this rain we’ve been having down here in NC, I was reminded of a beautiful wedding at Duke Chapel. This was one of those days where it was a blessing that it rained, because it had been a scorcher the entire week leading up to the wedding. Kaitlin and Justin knew that their wedding day was about much more than how the weather turned out -they would have been happy in any situation, they were so excited to make their wedding vows!

I am a total sucker for this moment…when the Dad sees his daughter before they walk down the aisle.
